10:30-11:30: Cyber Security in Your Library - Keeping Your Patrons and Yourself Secure

Libraries have transformed into dynamic digital community hubs, providing public Wi-Fi, shared devices, and access to AI tools, bringing significant responsibility to protect patron privacy and institutional systems. This session examines cybersecurity from both an organizational and patron perspective, covering common threats like phishing, ransomware, and social engineering alongside real detection data from library environments. The presentation also expands into AI and digital literacy as an essential complement to cybersecurity education, positioning libraries as trusted guides for responsible technology use. Attendees will leave with practical programming ideas and resources applicable to libraries of any size.

11:30-12: Gadget Show and Tell
